Best Edition Brighter Than the Sun (Lyndon Sisters Book 2) with Free MOBI EDITION!

I realize this is one of Quinn's earlier books, but it's really one of her most outstanding. It's one of the better ones for this genre, thus my 4.5 star rating.Quinn's capacity for humor and dialogue is really apparent in this book. The book started on a humorous note, and the humor was really sustained throughout the book in a number of small ways. Charles and Ellie were engaging characters. I especially liked Ellie's realism; she was independent and headstrong, and that was supported by her personal history. It was clear why she would act the way she did.Charles was not quite a rake; there was definitely something softer about him, but he required reforming nonetheless. Prior to this, Anthony Bridgerton was my favorite Quinn hero, but I think Charles now holds that title. He was just naughty enough, just smart enough, just clever enough, just serious enough, and just fun enough - the perfect package. His problems weren't overwhelming or depressing; they were just problems, and he dealt with them.My one problem - it was overwhelmingly predictable. I had the solutions to the few plot problems figured out long in advance of when the characters solved them. This is not to say that they weren't written well because they were - the problem is really that they were so obvious; there was very little mystery. Overlook that aspect of the story, and you still have a charming, funny, and engaging read that should stand out for this genre of writing.
